ro connor registered psychotherapist

Meet Ro

A Warm and Grounded Space for Connection, Reflection, and Growth

As a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) (Qualifying), Ro offers a direct yet compassionate approach grounded in authenticity, emotional safety, and meaningful connection. She believes that a secure therapeutic relationship creates the foundation for healing, growth, and deeper self-understanding. Through this work, Ro helps clients regulate the nervous system, process emotions with greater clarity, and build an internal sense of safety that supports lasting change.

Ro supports individuals and couples navigating relationship challenges, sexual concerns, life transitions, parenting issues, and perinatal mental health. She has a particular interest in sex therapy, helping clients explore intimacy, desire, and connection in ways that feel safe, empowering, and aligned with their values. Ro brings a culturally humble and relational lens to her work and remains mindful of how culture, identity, and intergenerational experiences can shape emotional well-being and relationships.

Her approach is emotion-focused and attachment-based, integrating evidence-based modalities such as Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and somatic-based approaches. Ro works collaboratively with clients to tailor therapy to their unique needs, supporting greater connection, insight, emotional resilience, and personal growth.

Outside of work, I love exploring new restaurants and trying foods. I’m also a big fan of quiet evenings at home with my favourite TV show, a good book most likely fantasy, or a puzzle. And while I’m a devoted dog person, I currently live with a very entitled and thoroughly spoiled cat who would have you believe otherwise. I’m naturally curious and always up for discovering something new.

Outside of the therapy room, Ro enjoys cooking, watching hockey, thrift shopping, and spending quality time with her family. She values warmth, humour, and authenticity both in her personal life and in her work with clients, and enjoys cozy nights in and unwinding with reality TV.

Meet Melissa

Creating Stronger Connections Through Understanding and Change

Relationships can become difficult when the same patterns of conflict, miscommunication, or disconnection keep repeating. Major life transitions, grief, betrayal, and changing family roles can make it even harder to feel understood and connected to the people who matter most.

Melissa works with couples, families, and individuals who feel stuck and want to create meaningful change. She helps clients explore the emotions, needs, and patterns shaping their relationships, with a focus on building greater understanding, stronger connections, healthier boundaries, and practical ways to move forward.
