What We’re Looking For

Requirements

  • Provide individual, couples, and/or family psychotherapy.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date client records.
  • Participate in supervision and monthly team meetings.
  • Stay current with developments and best practices in psychotherapy.
  • Deliver client-centred care with empathy and professionalism.
  • See a minimum of 15 clients per week, with some evening availability.
  • Maintain professional liability insurance in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrate experience working with clients managing depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, interpersonal issues, and cultural family dynamics.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a mental health-related field.
  • Registered Psychotherapist or Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the CRPO.
  • Training and experience in couples and family therapy.
  • Familiarity with modalities such as Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, IFS, Attachment Theory, Psychodynamic Therapy, EFT, and CBT.

Preferred Assets

  • Registration with the CACFT (Formerly CAMFT).
  • Training in ADHD and/or sex therapy.
  • Fluent in a second language.
